The experience (currently in beta) introduces a wordless, loving intervention grounded in research on empathy and social connection: mutual eye gazing can increase empathy by activating mirror neuron systems and stimulating oxytocin, supporting prosocial behavior.
The experience begins with a guided Self Gaze meditation, where you look into your own eyes to foster self acceptance and emotional grounding.
Once you have regained sight of yourself, you will be paired with another user for a mutual gazing session.
Please use the comment feature to let us know about any experiences you'd like to share.

By meeting face to face without words, you engage in a shared human experience that has nothing to do with labels, arguments, or ideology.
Our goal is to restore a felt sense of connection, supporting love for yourself and awareness of that love growing to include others.
Results and Pilots
Early pilot implementations are planned for college campuses. We expect increased empathy and openness to dialogue. Please contact Applied Love Labs if your campus would like to beta-test the app in a pilot study.
