So much of the way AI has been implemented has resulted in products that remove ourselves from decision making entirely, but this doesn’t have to be the case. Student of Humanity was created to help understand, probe and reconnect users with the source of fulfilling decision making, their intuition.
Student of Humanity is designed to be exactly that, a student of humanity. Instead of positioning itself as the expert, it engages users through thoughtful questions that invite reflection, curiosity, and deeper self understanding. Inspired by the research and writing of Alison Gopnik and Julia Mossbridge, the project centers on the belief that insight already exists within each person and can be accessed through inquiry.
Built on OpenAI’s GPT 4 platform, Student of Humanity is trained on writings related to personal growth, spirituality, and human development.
It is intentionally configured to prioritize asking questions rather than offering expertise, guiding users toward two goals: experiencing unconditional love and exploring what it means to be part of humanity. While the team established the guiding principles that shape its behavior, the model generates responses in real time rather than from pre written scripts. Because of its generative nature, responses are not directly controlled and may occasionally feel misaligned or unhelpful. Users are encouraged to provide feedback through the platform tools or by contacting the team so the model can continue learning.
